Climate in Alsace
Alsace has one of the driest climates in France though it does have a continental climate. Alsace has four distinct seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter. During the winter months, due to Alsace’s location, there is snowfall in the area but this makes it an ideal location for skiers and snowboarders to visit.
Winter in Alsace
Winter starts in December and ends in February and has an average temperature of around 2 degrees Celsius across the winter season. January is the coldest month of the year with the lowest average temperature of 1 degree Celsius. Winter is also the time of year with the lowest levels of precipitation.
